Areas I Serve
Portland Metro Real Estate
The Oregon side of the Portland Metro, across Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties. Jill helps buyers and sellers from the city to the suburbs, with a clear picture of how a move can change from one county to the next.
Three Counties, One Metro
How Jill serves the Portland Metro
The Portland Metro spills across three Oregon counties, and a home a few blocks apart can sit in a different one. Jill works all of them, so she can show you a house in SW Portland, walk you through a listing in Beaverton, and explain why a sale in Lake Oswego looks different on the closing statement than one in Hillsboro. Knowing which county a home falls in is part of getting your numbers right.

Why the County Line Matters
How buying and selling can differ by county
The biggest practical difference across the metro is the Washington County real property transfer tax. When a home sells in Washington County, the county charges a transfer tax at closing, and it is easy to overlook if no one points it out. Homes in Multnomah and Clackamas counties generally do not carry that same county transfer tax, with one wrinkle: Wilsonville straddles the Washington and Clackamas line, so a Wilsonville home on the Washington County side is subject to it.
Services and land use also shift with the county line, and inside the City of Portland, city government, not the county, handles those. Jill pinpoints which side any home falls on, so your offer, your listing price, and your net proceeds are accurate from the first conversation.
